Scripture:

John 19:30 – He said, “It is finished!” Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

segnali binari demo Observations:

I find it amazing that although we celebrate Christmas with enthusiasm, we often forget about the pain that Jesus’ birth leads to. We forget that the God of Heaven came down and truly humbled himself in order to live with us, for us and to die for us.

If we were to give up all our possessions and go live under a bridge, it wouldn’t even compare to the sacrifice that Jesus made to live on Earth. Indeed — the angels must have had mixed emotions as they announced Jesus’ birth.

Application:

I too need to realize the great sacrifice that was made. I need to understand Jesus for who He is, what He did, and what that means to me.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, thanks for making the sacrifices you did — including the ultimate sacrifice of giving your life. Please continue to make me worthy of you and your life.

Thanks Jesus — I love you too!
